Phase 1: Preparation

1. STOP: Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves under the sink.
2. Remove your old faucet and clean the sink deck.
3. Attach the supply hoses to the base of your new faucet (hand-tighten).

Phase 2: Mounting

1. Drop the faucet, along with the hoses, through the hole in the sink/countertop.
2. From underneath, slide on the mounting washer and then the lock nut.
3. Ensure the faucet is straight, and then hand-tighten the lock nut.
4. Use your wrench to gently secure the lock nut until the faucet is firmly seated.

Phase 3: Connections & Test

1. Connect the supply hoses to the corresponding hot and cold water valves. Hand-tighten first.
2. Use the wrench for a final 1/4 turn on each connection. (Do not overtighten!)
3. Flush: Unscrew the spray head. Point the hose into the sink.
4. Turn the main water supply back on SLOWLY. Run the water for 1 minute to clear the lines.
5. Check all connections for any leaks.
6. Re-attach the spray head.

Done! Your smart faucet is ready.
